wén fánɡ sì bǎo shì zhōnɡ ɡuó dú jù tè sè de wén shū ɡōnɡ jù ，
文 房 四 宝 是 中 国 独 具 特 色 的 文 书 工 具 ，
yīn bǐ 、 mò 、 zhǐ 、 yàn wéi wén fánɡ zhōnɡ jīnɡ chánɡ shǐ yònɡ ，
因 笔 、 墨 、 纸 、 砚 为 文 房 中 经 常 使 用 ，
ɡù bèi rén men yù wéi " wén fánɡ sì bǎo " 。
故 被 人 们 誉 为 " 文 房 四 宝 " 。
wén fánɡ zhī mínɡ ， shǐ yú nán běi cháo shí qī ，
文 房 之 名 ， 始 于 南 北 朝 时 期 ，
zhuān zhǐ wén rén shū fánɡ ér yán 。
专 指 文 人 书 房 而 言 。
sì bǎo pǐn lèi fán duō ， fēnɡ fù duō cǎi ，
四 宝 品 类 繁 多 ， 丰 富 多 彩 ，
yǐ hú bǐ 、 huī mò 、 xuān zhǐ 、 duān yàn zhù chēnɡ ，
以 湖 笔 、 徽 墨 、 宣 纸 、 端 砚 著 称 ，
zhì jīn rénɡ xiánɡ yǒu shènɡ mínɡ 。
至 今 仍 享 有 盛 名 。
The Four Treasures of the Study are the writing tools with Chinese characteristics. Also known as “ the Scholar’s Four Jewels ”，namely the writing brush, ink-stick, paper and ink-slab.
The study got its name in the Northern and Southern dynasties, referring only to the study of the literati.
The Four Treasures, varied and colorful,are famous for their hubi (writing brush produced in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province),huimo (ink-stick produced in Huizhou, Anhui Province), xuanzhi (rice paper or xuan paper, made in Xuancheng，Anhui Province)，and duanyan (ink-slab made in Duanxi, Guangdong Province).
